We began our work by liaising with local farmers and formed cooperatives in order to improve their marketing techniques and increase their bargaining power. Knowledge exchange is a key function of the cooperatives for farming techniques and market trends. Kijani Valley now has an extended portfolio of export products adding mangoes, cashew nuts and groundnuts grown in Laikipia and Kiambu county.
